Wrennington LLC
LILA Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 1, 2026
The short version. LILA is an AI interior design assistant made by Wrennington LLC. To work, it needs photos of your rooms and the messages you send it. We use that information to analyze your space, recommend products, and create renders, and to train and improve the AI models and features behind LILA. We send it to a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf, including AI providers. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising. We may share or sell aggregated, de-identified insights, such as product demand and design trends, that do not identify you. You can delete your account and its data from inside the app at any time.
This policy explains what information the LILA iOS app ("LILA", "the app") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. "Wrennington", "we", and "us" mean Wrennington LLC, based in North Carolina, USA.
LILA is currently in a limited beta. Some features, such as purchasing products and requesting home-service professionals, are not available yet. This policy also describes how we will handle information for those features once they launch. If we add features that change how we handle your information in other ways, we will update this policy before they launch.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in, we collect your email address, which we use to send you a one-time sign-in code. You may also add your name and ZIP code. We use your ZIP code to show what's available near you.
Room photos and measurements
When you add a room, you choose photos from your camera or photo library to upload. If you use the room-scanning feature, we also store the room's measurements (such as width, length, and ceiling height). We only access your camera or photo library when you choose to add a photo.
Information LILA creates from your photos
We analyze room photos to describe the room's style, furniture, materials, lighting, and colors, including measured color values for surfaces like walls and floors. When you request a render, we create an image that shows a product or paint color in your room. We store these analyses and renders with your account.
Product photos you take
If you photograph a product that isn't in our catalog so you can see it in your room, we store that photo and use it only to create your render.
Conversations with LILA
We store the messages you send to LILA and its replies so it can keep track of the conversation. We also log the product searches LILA runs for you so we can improve the relevance of its results.
Design preferences
LILA builds a design profile from your activity, such as styles and colors you seem to like, saved products, saved palettes, and style quiz results. LILA does not infer your budget, whether you have children or pets, or your household type. Those appear in your profile only if you provide them.
Looks you email to others
If you email a render to someone, we collect the recipient's email address and any note you add, and use them only to send that email. We do not store the recipient's address itself. We keep only a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of it, which we use to limit how many emails can be sent.
Purchases and service requests (when available)
If you buy a product or request a home-service professional through LILA, we collect what's needed to complete it. That includes your delivery or service address, order details, and the details of your request, such as the job description, photos you attach, your messages with the professional, and any quotes you receive. Payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number.
Store staff activity
If you use LILA as a member of a retail partner's staff, we record when you mark a render as having led to a sale.
Waitlist
If you join a waitlist for an upcoming feature, we store your email address and which feature you signed up for.
Usage and technical information
We record how LILA is used, such as the features you use, the products you view, save, and render, the searches you run, and your general area based on your ZIP code. We use this information for our own analytics. Our servers also keep standard operational logs (for example, request times and errors) to run, secure, and fix the service. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics tracking in the app.
2. How we use your information
- To provide LILA's features: room analysis, product and color recommendations, renders, conversations, and emailed looks.
- To sign you in and keep your account and data secure.
- To develop, train, and improve the AI models and features behind LILA and other Wrennington products (see section 3).
- To measure whether LILA helps our retail partners, using records of renders that staff mark as sold.
- To produce analytics and market insights, such as product demand, style, color, and size trends, and regional design preferences, for Wrennington and for third parties (see section 4).
- To enforce usage limits, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To contact you about your account or important changes to the service.
We do not sell your personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it to show you ads.
3. How AI is used, including training
Providing LILA's features
LILA uses AI models from third-party providers to analyze room photos, create renders, and respond to your messages. To do that, we send the relevant photos, messages, and design-profile details to those providers through their business APIs. They process this information on our behalf to return a result. We do not provide your information to these providers so that they can train their own models.
Training and improving our models
We use the information you provide and the content LILA creates to develop, train, test, and improve the AI models and features that power LILA and other Wrennington products. This includes room photos, product photos, renders, room analyses, messages, search queries, feedback, and design preferences. This work can include building datasets, fine-tuning models, and evaluating results.
Authorized members of our team, and contractors bound by confidentiality obligations, may review samples of this content for these purposes. Where practical, we remove or separate direct identifiers, such as your name and email address, before using content for training.
We may also create aggregated or de-identified information that can no longer reasonably be linked to you, and use it for any lawful purpose.
AI output can be wrong. Renders are visual approximations, and colors, sizes, and placement may not exactly match real products or your room. Product details such as price, size, and availability come from our catalog, not from the AI.
4. Who we share information with
We use the following service providers to run LILA. They receive information only as needed to provide their services to us:
| Type of provider | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| Cloud infrastructure | Sign-in, database, file storage, and running LILA's backend services |
| AI model providers | Room photo analysis, render creation, and AI responses |
| Email delivery | Sign-in codes and emails you send, such as looks |
| App distribution | Apple's App Store and TestFlight |
| Payment processing (when available) | Processing purchases |
| Maps services (when available) | Address suggestions and delivery distance for purchases |
You can request a current list of our service providers by contacting us at the address below.
Retailers and service professionals you choose
When you place an order or send a request to a retailer or service professional, we share the information they need to respond and complete it. This can include your name, contact information, address, the items or job you described, photos you attach, relevant room details such as measurements, and the messages you exchange. You will see which business receives your request before you send it, and if LILA drafts a message for you, you review it before anything is sent.
These businesses use your information to respond to you, provide quotes, and fulfill your order or complete your job. We require them to use it only for those purposes and not to sell it. Their handling of your information is also subject to their own privacy practices.
Messages between you and a retailer or professional are stored in LILA so both sides have a record of what was discussed and agreed. We may review them to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and keep the platform safe.
People you email a look to receive the render, the list of items in it, your note, your name, and your email address, so they can reply to you directly.
Aggregated and de-identified insights
We may share, license, or sell aggregated or de-identified information to retailers, manufacturers, vendors, and other businesses. Examples include demand for particular rug styles, colors, sizes, and price ranges, and design trends by region. This information combines data from many users and is processed so that it can no longer reasonably be linked to you or your device. We do not attempt to re-identify it, and we contractually require recipients not to re-identify it.
Our retail partners may also receive reports about how LILA performs in their stores, such as how many renders led to sales.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. In that case, this policy would continue to apply to your information.
5. How we protect your information
Your room photos, product photos, and renders are stored privately. The app displays them through short-lived links that only work for your signed-in account. Our database restricts each account to its own data, and our servers verify your identity on every request. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and fix problems quickly.
6. How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your photos, renders, rooms, conversations, design profile, and saved items, and then your sign-in account itself. Copies may remain in backups or service-provider systems for a limited time before they're overwritten under those systems' normal schedules. If your account has purchase records, we may need to keep those records to meet legal or accounting obligations. In that case, contact us to complete the deletion.
Deleting your account removes your information from future training and improvement work. Information that has already been used to train a model cannot be extracted from that model, and aggregated or de-identified information is not affected by deletion.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: You can view and edit your name and ZIP code in Settings, and view your rooms, renders, and saved items in the app.
- Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and its data in Settings, using Delete Account.
- Photos: You control which photos you upload. You can change camera and photo-library access at any time in your iPhone's Settings.
- Questions or requests: Contact us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.
8. Children
LILA is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as LILA changes. We will post the updated policy here with a new "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
10. Our website
This policy also covers wrennington.com. On the website, we collect the email address you enter to join the waitlist, and the business details you submit in a partner application. Partner applications are processed by our form provider, Formspree. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as the pages you visit, your device and browser type, and your approximate location. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
